I have Cystic Fibrosis, one of the affects of it is having a hard time absorbing enough nutrients in foods and having a difficult time keeping on enough weight even with a high calorie meat and dairy diet. But I was wondering if its possible at all to be a vegan with Cystic Fibrosis and if so what are the vegan dishes with the highest possible number of calories and nutrients? My mother thought I was crazy for bringing it up and said absolutely not, but is it possible? I’m 15. It just makes me really sick when I read about how animals are treated, slaughtered, and the awful conditions many of them have to live in.

I think I will write my paper on cystic fibrosis, since I already know a little about it. I know CF is a broad category, so what should I focus on? The paper has to be 5-7 pages long.

I was told by my doctor I have developed pneumonia. My girlfriend is 18 and has Cystic Fibrosis, she has very weak lung function and gets infections a lot of the time. I was wondering, should I avoid being near her and having any bodily contact with her while I have the pneumonia? Or is it ok to spend time with her while I have this? Could I potentially get her very ill?
