Most of the time babies dont show symptoms right away. Thats why alot of states now have mandatoring testing. My daughter is 10 months old and doesnt show any symptoms.
not always. Sometimes it takes months or years to diagnose a patient with cystic fibrosis. It is better to diagnose sooner, to help prevent lung damage.
Since there are over 1500 known mutations of the cystic fibrosis gene, it makes sense that the range of symptoms are also variable.
