Question by nickyourenotrad: Genetics Question concerning outcomes?
Lets say you have one man who has had a child before with a woman without cystic fibrosis, but they had a child with cystic fibrosis.

Then you have a woman who has a brother with cystic fibrosis.

If both this man and this woman were to have a kid, what are the chances the child will have cystic fibrosis?

should be about 25% of a chance. Both parents would be carriers of the gene, giving their child a 25% chance of inheriting the gene from both parents.
