Of course you can be anything you want.
Yes! I was in college a few years back with a girl who is now a nurse. With the development of new drugs, you can live an almost normal life. And lets face it, you can empathize with your patients, having been hospitalized quite often. Good for you, I wish you luck.
You can do anything you want. Cystic fibrosis doesn’t hold you back. I know a couple of doctors with CF. The only thing to really think about is infection control issues. How will you protect yourself from someone who’s coughing? Will you treat people with CF?
You can do it. Just takes some thought.
