My cousin just found out that her daughter is a carrier for cystic fibrosis what does this mean?
i know many people who have died from cystic fibrosis and want to either be a doctor that treats CF patients. What would I major in in college? Grad school? How do i become a CF doctor/researcher? If you have any other advice please let me know!

I have Cystic Fibrosis, one of the affects of it is having a hard time absorbing enough nutrients in foods and having a difficult time keeping on enough weight even with a high calorie meat and dairy diet. But I was wondering if its possible at all to be a vegan with Cystic Fibrosis and if so what are the vegan dishes with the highest possible number of calories and nutrients? My mother thought I was crazy for bringing it up and said absolutely not, but is it possible? I’m 15. It just makes me really sick when I read about how animals are treated, slaughtered, and the awful conditions many of them have to live in.
